Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Model Muse, operated by Model Muse (“we”, “us”, “our”), accessible at modelmuse.net. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Model Muse is an AI-powered image generation tool designed to help hobbyist miniature painters visualise paint schemes on their models. The service is provided “as is” and we may update, change, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

2. Accounts

  • You must be 13 years or older to use Model Muse.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others.
  • You may close your account at any time by contacting support@modelmuse.net.

3. Credits and payments

Credits: Access to AI generations is gated by a credit system. Credits are consumed when you successfully generate an image. If a generation fails for a technical reason, the credit is automatically refunded.
Monthly subscription: A monthly subscription grants 50 credits at the start of each billing period. Unused subscription credits expire at the end of the billing period and do not roll over.
Top-up packs: Top-up credits are purchased outright and never expire while your account is active.
Booster packs: Booster packs are available to active subscribers only. Booster credits are added to your subscription balance and expire at the same time as your current subscription period.
Refunds: All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds on credits or subscription payments except where required by applicable consumer law. If you cancel a subscription, you retain access to credits until the end of the paid period.
Pricing changes: We may change prices at any time. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase before it takes effect.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate illegal, hateful, or harmful content
  • Attempt to bypass credit checks or access the service without payment
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
  • Use automated tools to generate images at scale without our written consent
  • Impersonate other people or organisations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

5. AI-generated content

Images generated by Model Muse are produced by a third-party AI model (Flux 2 Pro via Replicate). You may download and use generated images for personal, non-commercial purposes. We make no warranty that generated images are free from intellectual property claims. Commercial use of generated images is at your own risk.

By uploading a reference image you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant us a limited licence to process that image solely to fulfil your generation request.

6. Intellectual property

The Model Muse name, logo, and website design are our property. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited licence to use the service as described.

7. Availability and limitation of liability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime, AI output quality, or decisions made based on generated images.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, or if we cease to operate the service. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of any planned shutdown. On termination, unused top-up credits are forfeited and are not refundable except where required by law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes by email where possible.
