Privacy Policy

Model Muse (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Model Muse. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using modelmuse.net you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

Account information: When you create an account — via Google OAuth or email magic link — we receive your email address and, if provided by Google, your display name and profile picture.

Usage data: We store a record of each AI generation you request, including the prompt, style preset, and output image URL, so we can maintain your generation history.

Credit and billing data: We store your credit balance and subscription status. Payment details (card numbers etc.) are handled exclusively by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

Technical data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, retained for security and debugging purposes.

2. How we use your data

To provide and operate the Model Muse service
To manage your account, credits, and subscription
To process payments via Stripe
To send transactional emails (magic link sign-in, billing receipts)
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors to operate the service:

Supabase — Authentication and database hosting

Stripe — Payment processing

Replicate — AI image generation

Vercel — Application hosting and CDN

Each processor operates under their own privacy policy, linked above, and is contractually bound to process your data only as instructed.

4. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see section 6). Generation history is retained for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted. Billing records are retained for 7 years to meet legal and tax obligations.

5. Cookies and sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. We do not use third-party analytics scripts.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
Restrict or object to processing
Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, email support@modelmuse.net. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is protected by row-level security policies. Payment data never touches our servers. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.

8. Children

Model Muse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will reflect when it was last changed. Continued use of the service after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
